The new age of work will be all about creating a healthy customer experience (HCE) with a diverse talent pool. It will be more and more of excelling with human choices. Over the period of time, we have learned to work in different and flexible ways; we could discover infinite opportunities around us. Our customers have made us realise that we are living in the pool of unprecedented challenges and opportunities. It has fuelled the process of transformation that was already under way and accelerated an essential insight not just of what and why we work, but how we work.

We could clearly see the future of customer place with a few important dimensions; the way we work, the workforce we are engaged with, and value-creating abilities of the workplace. We are sure that without transforming these three facts we can’t relate to the customer place. Our reason for transformation is to create customers who could acknowledge healthy experiences being with us.

The future of the business will demand a permanent shift in leading purpose, process, and people. We are ready to adapt to the change with grace; the rules relating to the above, for years, stand disrupted. People must learn to lead rather than manage and unlearn rules and rights of engagement. Values have become a critical ingredient that leaders need to have over the period of time. The human choice will be central to all we do and will cut across all actions that leaders do in engaging with purpose, process, and people.

The future will demand to practice value when purpose, process, and people come before everything. Customers will come to the understanding of an organisation based on what and how our choices are made. It is the undefined rule to communicate openly and prove how the organisation acknowledges its people, process, and purpose. The ‘3P’ first approach is what will define the future workplace, we are ready and stepping up to embrace the new order of reality.

Value Creating Operating System as our organizational theme.

Once upon a time, two brothers Devadutta and Somadutta lived on adjoining farms fell into conflict. It was the first serious rift in 40 years of farming side by side, sharing machinery, and trading labor and goods as needed without a hitch. Then the long collaboration fell apart. It began with a small misunderstanding and it grew into a major difference, and finally, it exploded into an exchange of bitter words followed by weeks of silence.

One morning there was a knock on Devadutta’s door. He opened it to find a man with a carpenter’s toolbox. “I’m looking for a few days’ work,” he said. “Perhaps you would have a few small jobs here and there. Could I help you?” “Yes,” said Devadutta. “I do have a job for you. Look across the creek at that farm. That’s my neighbor, in fact, it’s my younger brother Somadutta. Last week there was a meadow between us and he took his bulldozer to the river bank and now there is a creek between us. Well, he may have done this to spite me, but I’ll go him one better. See that pile of timber curing by the shed? I want you to build me a fence, so I won’t need to see his place anymore.” The carpenter said, “I think I understand the situation. Show me the nails and the post-hole digger and I’ll be able to do a job that pleases you.”

Devadutta had to go to town for supplies, so he helped the carpenter get the materials ready and then he was off for the day. The carpenter worked hard all that day measuring, sawing, nailing. About sunset when Devadutta returned, the carpenter had just finished his job.

Devadutta’s eyes opened wide, his jaw dropped. There was no fence there at all. It was a bridge - a bridge stretching from one side of the creek to the other! A fine piece of work - handrails and all - and the neighbor, his younger brother Somadutta, was coming across, his hand outstretched. “You are quite a fellow to build this bridge after all I’ve said and done.” The two brothers stood at each end of the bridge, and then they met in the middle, taking each other’s hand.

They turned to see the carpenter hoist his toolbox on his shoulder. “No, wait! Stay a few days. I’ve a lot of other projects for you,” said Devadutta. “I’d love to stay on,” the carpenter said, “but, I have many more bridges to build.”

We have many more bridges to build …. We remain alert … We remain committed … We create healthy experience …

Clear vision of recognising the need to build a bridge and building the bridge are the key to excellence in our organisation. Our vision empowers us to accept customers as, they deserve nothing less than the best version – elegant fabric. Whenever and wherever we see and think of customers, we acknowledge them with the fabric of elegance. Our vision of elegant fabric will be met with helping organisations to manufacture dignified threads. We achieve this by working with organisations at their Purpose, Process and People level. The manifestation of dignified thread is ensured when purity of cotton is confirmed. We affirm purity of cotton living our core values around impossibilities. We are building the bridge only when we ensure elegant fabric through pure cotton. Our purpose, process and people are re-engineered to make the bridge happen. This dedication of our family ignited the birth of “NEST Experience” cotton in threads and fabric.
