Regular market feedbacks on the contamination level in the yarn has prompted the customer to install “i-Scan-pico” about a year back. The performance has been consistent, and the market complaints has come down over time.
Customer installed “i-Scan-pico” more than a year back and have seen a reduction in the overall clearer cuts in yarn and improvement in warping performance.
Due to ever demanding requirements from the garment units for contamination free yarn, customer decided to invest
Customer had installed “i-Scan pico”in one of the line while the other line is having imported CCM. As per customer observation, the overall cleaning efficiency of above 80% is maintained.
The customer had installed “i-Scan-nano”in their one line and had taken extensive studies on the performance. They have reported about 8 to 10 cuts/100km reduction in the Autoconer and reduction in the fabric contamination level.
Customer supplies yarn to their garment division and in order to get contamination free yarn they have modernized their existing CCM and installed “i-Scan-nano”. They have observed a reduction in the faults/Kg of knitted fabric from 4 to 2.
One of their units were getting market complaint due to contamination, while another spinner having the same set up of machinery had no complaints. This prompted the management to analyse critically the reasons and found the other spinner had i-Scan for contamination removal.
The mills were contemplating going for imported cotton to manage the contamination levels in the final fabrics to acceptable levels. They decided to take trial with one i-scan in the blow room line.
In one of their unit, i-Scan Blue was installed and extensive studies were conducted. They had studied for 5 days continuously the elimination efficiency in actual process during Apr 2016. The results showed about 29 to 30 gms per day of all kinds of white PP contaminations ejected by i-Scan blue. The customer seeing the performance of the i-scan blue in the line, decided to add one more i-scan blue at the breaker stage. They were able to remove about 300 to 400 contaminations per day with 1 i-scan blue and it increased to about 800 per day with 2 i-scan blue in the line. Also at the breaker machine much bigger PP contaminations were detected and removed successfully.
